Is it normal for a husband to say that wife try even control his wish of travel date bring him bad luck when wife try to advice why not try to travel 1 day earlier or later in order not to miss friday prayer?

ANSWER: No, as no one can bring “bad luck” to anyone and thinking this can be a form of shirk! It is obvious that such a husband has issues and she must be more than diplomatic when dealing with him!

I am from pakistan and here the elders say that you cant clean or sweep your home after asar prayer or at night. Is there any islamic view of not doing so? They say that blessings go away etc. Is it a wrong belief?

A sister I know recently had a miscarriage, I understand life is given and taken by Allah SWT.Family claim when a lady loses her baby she is cursed and that if a pregnant lady was to be near her or in a miscarried ladies shadow then she too will lose her child.How can I make them understand this is untrue and is there any hadith in regards to this?

ANSWER: This is a different issue from the hadeeth! The hadeeth is referring to astrology and the belief that these stars and zodiacs cause rain to fall. The weather prediction is simply forecasting when rain would come and where, through studying meteorology and sciences.

Sheikh,here in Pakistan most people beleive that it is not permissible to marry in the first 10 days of muharram and also to make other greeting moments, is there something authentic in hadith or Qur’an related to it?

Sir I want to ask that is it true that cleaning house at evening or after maghrib brings less barakat in your house or if we will not clean and mop our house daily even if it is clean then it will reduce the rizq. Or drying wet hands from shirt and scarf as well is not good. Is cutting nails at night is also haram or not allowed??

This is false.

I’ve heard that after cutting our nails and removing the hair under the arms and the hair below the navel, one should collect them all and bury them, cause it’s said that we all are made from soil thus the hair and nails should be put back to the earth. Also some people here believe that we should bury our hair (i.e.hair on head). Are all these beliefs authentic, sheikh?

shiek please i want to know if a muslim can have belief in superstition because some peple belief that when having your bath then your sponge falls to the ground you shouldnt use it because youll carry what youve cleansed(back luck) back to your body or when you open your store the first person you sell to depends on how well u sell for that day.
