Is it permissible to play online pool with other players where virtual chips are used as bet? Those chips can only be used inside the game to buy fancy cues, tables etc. People can buy chips with real money, but they cannot sell them.

one issue that has been troubling me lately is my recent addiction to a Turkish Tv serial entitled ‘Sultan Suleiman’. Being addicted to that serial I have neglected salah at its proper time, quran recitation and Zikr. I feel so bad and sinful. what can I do to rid myself of this addiction? I am so addicted to the serial that I get depressed at some events happening in it. I have mood swings and feel unhappy. Please help me with your advice shaykh.

Such apps must involve either buying the app or putting an entry fee in order to Play! This makes it gambling.

I am interested in taking part in Muay thai as I wish to learn how to defend myself, I would not take part in bowing infront of the instructor or any other haram thing. Muay thai allow blows to the head however however participants can wear gloves and pads which can offer protection from strikes and the face is not hit. Is it halal for me to take part in Muay thai?

I wish to play basketball with friends but every member will have to pay a contribution for a pot money. The pot money will be given to the winner of the game. Is this gambling. Sometimes every member will pay for the rent of the court but i not sure about the pot money.

The pot is gambling! If they all pay for the court, regardless of who wins, this is permissible.

My friends are arranging a tournament in which they’ll collect an entry fee from all the participants. In the end of the tournament they’ll give out a prize money from the amount they had collected as the prize money. Does this come under gambling? I went to a friends iftar party.she invited me so i did not want to say no and only women were there I wanted to peacefully break fast but the girls started to play music.It was iftar time so i had to eat with them and music was still on.I was disturbed but i did not say anything because it was her house.I went to other rooms but it was so loud.Did i do anything wrong?It was maghrib time
