Today even in islamic videos we see various sound effects like clicking,taking photo,ping,cring etc. Also sound effect used in messenger ( when a message comes). Are these sound effects halal?

ANSWER: If these are just random natural sounds without intending it to be used as music then no problem in this. As for messages notification, you can choose normal natural sounds, like birds chirping etc.

If a person describes something haram in a positive manner while still believing that it is haram ( example : One might say “ That song was very good” or “ That was a really entertaining film” or something similar ) Has this person committed an act of kufr ?

ANSWER: This is not kufr but definitely sinful and he would accumulate everyone’s sin if they watch or listen to it upon hearing that from him.

Dear ,sheikh, I have been put in a predicament of sorts, the subject is musical instruments, specifically the piano.Since an early age, my parents put me in a music class (one to one), and since then up until now,I have been studying the piano. Knowing it is haram I brought the case to my parents and they concluded I resume until I finish my current grade as they have paid for it, is this ok?

ANSWER: This is absolutely prohibited. You must immediately discontinue this and sincerely repent to Allah. There’s no obedience to anyone at the cost of disobedience to Allah. However you must be diplomatic and respectful towards your parents in all situations but keep firm on your decision and not continue this class at all.

ANSWER: A Muslim who does not associate partners with Allah and does not nullify his Islam with any act or statement that takes him out of the fold of Islam will eventually enter Paradise after being purified in hell from his sins or will be forgiven by Allah as this is absolutely in Allah’s hands.

Is being a fan of a music band already a kind of worship/shirk? Because there are many girl bands from South Korea which call themselves “idols” and of course I don’t see them as that, I do also not really listen to their music but I talk a lot about them with my friend because of their looks and they are celebrities.

My 12 year old has his own youtube channel usually he uploads really nice content video but now he is insisting on making a ROASTING video (a video where one youtuber speaks about the mistakes or bad/poor content of another youtuber)for eg his competitor makes ASMR eating videos my son wants to roast him ! ANSWER: This is true. It is not permissible as we must teach them to hate pigs.

Recently i watched a movie (which had a little too much show of hindu idols) and i felt really guilty and said o Allah i will not watch such movies (no intention of oath) Is expiation for this oath possible? Do I need to declare my intention to the receivers?
