According TO AN AL-HADITH,BEFORE THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT THERE WILL BE 72 GROUPS IN ISLAM….AND AMONG THOSE ONLY ONE WILL GO TO JANNAH…I WANT TO ASK THAT IF THE GROUPS FOLLOWING FOUR IMAMS WILL ALSO BE A PART IN THOSE 72 GROUPS?

The four schools of thought are not a sect. they are schools based on Fiqh differences and not in Aqeedah. The 73 sects have different Aqeedah and some of the followers of the 4 schools of thought can be one of them if their aqeedah is corrupt.

A brother who is upon Ahlul Sunnah Wal Jamah is interested in proposing to me.MashAllah his Aqeedah is correct, he is practicing and goes to pray Fajr at the masajid etc. However, his family are from the Barelvi sect.The brother has informed me that he is trying his best to give his family dawah.I want my husbands family to be upon the correct aqeedah because my children will be around them when they are older inshAllah. I want to talk to them about the deen without having any conflicting debates etc. (I will not be living with the in laws if this marriage goes forward inshAllah because there are non-mahrams in the house). What would you encourage me to do in this situation?
