In the night prayer what is salat ul shaf? Salat ul shaf we pray as 2 rakah before witr prayer and after nafl layl Is it a part of witr prayer or is it a part of nafl ul layl prayer

They are all interlinked. However, witr can be prayed as one rak’ah, 3, 5, 7 or 9. Therefore, in the case of these 2 rak’ah, if a person intends it to be part of the witr, it can be.

I have come across a few variations in the duaa before ending our salaah (protection against Dajjal) , I say the duaa below, is it correct and according to Quran and Sunnah InshAllah?Allaahumma ‘innee a’oothu bika min adhaabin-naar wa min adhaabil-qabar, wa min fitnatil-Mahyaa wal Mamaat , wa min sharri Fitnatil-Maseehid-Dajjal

This is authentic.

In all the masjids in my area the brothers and sisters do 2 rakat nafl straight after maghrib salah. Is this correct? because I learnt that one should wait 10 -15 minutes before praying sunnah pray.

What they are doing is the Sunnah and it is correct. the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam had said: between every 2 Athans (the Athan and Iqamah) there is a prayer (2 rak’ah nafl).

Kindly tell me that what is the ruling on reading ayat 79 of surah an’aam in the begining of salah before dua istaftah?

This ayah and 162 are from the sunnah to recite them before the Fatiha in the first Rakah.

I have eight month old daughter. All most on all baby products there are pictures of animals or human faces..Can i pray in my room where there are pictures of human beings and animals….

In sajdah is it recommended to make the same adhkars repeatedly, or should we do many adhkars sepereatedly? Which is better?

One should change every now and then and not repeat the same athkar all the time.

I was wondering when you do the Dhikr after the prayers is it sunnah to do this after the Fard salah or do you do it after the sunnah salah after the Fard salah?

Can you explain how we should seek refuge with Allah while we are in the middle of praying, for example, in rukoo or in sujood or in the middle of reciting and we start losing concentration?
