I dont know y m i unable to put my full concentration in prayers it happens dat i forget like which Rakkah i was praying. So can u plz give me some advice on how can i increase my concentration in prayers.

If one doesn’t have time to pray the 2/4 Sunnah rakaah before Fard of Zuhr, and one makes these rakaah up later, should he pray 2 or 4? my understanding currently is a person should pray 4 rakaah if he prays them at home, or 2 if in the Masjid..

If his reasons are legitimate, he should pray them as four. And Allah knows best

In the hanafi madhab, they say the surah after faatihah in the 2nd rakaah has to be the direct surah after the surah in the 1st rakaah, or 2 surahs or more after. ie. if i recite surah teen in 1st rakaah, in 2nd rakaah i should recite al-bayyinah (or any surah after that), and cannot recite surah qadr but i could recite surah alaq. is this correct?

No, this is not correct and you can recite a Surah before it. And Allah knows best

Do i need to do istekhara fr tht.are there any conditions i need to see to.

You don’t need to do Istikhara for forms of worship.

I would like to know the real method of Witr Salah.

The Sunnah is to pray either 2 rak’ah and then one separate rak’ah or pray 3 consecutive rak’ah with one salam and with one tashahud at the 3 rak’ah. This means that it shouldn’t be prayed as Maghrib. And Allah knows best

I came to know that since my father is unstable in walking, he did not go for jumaa prayer but instead do jumaa prayer at home ie 2 rakaat and not zohor prayer.

It is not correct to pray Jum’ah in the house. Whoever is unable to pray in the masjid with the congregation must pray it 4 rak’ah as thuhur.

“O you who believe! Bow down, and prostrate yourselves, and worship your Lord and do good that you may be successful.” [al-Hajj 22:77] This place of prostration is apparently only implemented by the followers of Imam Shafi’i.As a follower of Quraan and Sunnah with no particular madhab as such, should I prostrate on reciting this Ayah?

My question is regards to praying behind an Imam who engages in bidah like celebrating the mawlid and he believes in hazar nazar etc etc. They are the follower of Imam Ahmed Raza Brelvi (im not sure if you know about this group …but they are referred to as the ‘Brelvi’s). Im I allowed to pray behind this imam or any member of this group?

The followers of this sect are either knowledgeable of its teachings or ignorant. Those ignorant who don’t say things that nullify Islam, we can pray behind them though it is best not to. But if they are knowledgeable and they are approving it, they shouldn’t lead the prayer and we must not pray behind them. […]

Basically there isn’t any difference. Sometimes when a woman is praying outside and men are looking, we may ask her to conceal herself and not to follow a number of Sunnah. And Allah knows best
