Suppose an Imam finishes the second prostration of the fourth rakah in Thuhr prayer and he mistakenly starts going to the standing position; but before he can do so, the congregation reminds him (by saying ‘SubhanAllaah’); he then sits down for the tashahudd. Are the two prostration of forgetfulness a must in this case?

If he stood up or was half way, he has to offer sujood assahu. But if he didn’t stand up but was almost to do so, he doesn’t need to prostrate for forgetfulness.

I work in dubai , i have changed my job so i have to exit UAE. So I came to my home country but my family lives abroad and i am at the cousin’s house .. Before coming i made a niyyat of safar (traveling) for 15 days , i am still waiting for the visa .. so now 15 days have crossed .. so should i start praying normally now ???

I’m trying to perfect my salah. I understand the different movements and to take my time, but I don’t understand what I should visualise during salah. What image should I see when I am praying? I know the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him when he said to pray as you see Allah or as Allah sees you. But what do I see? Allah as light?

I was at Jummah congregation yesterday and saw a man next to me whom during the sujud in the first rakah decided to sit for like 3 seconds and said Allahu Akbar while sitting for like 3 secs with raising his hands while saying the takbeer while still sitting down when all of us have stood up including the imam has even started reciting Fatiha for the second rakah. Is this sunnah?

I want to ask about the ruling regarding the hair shaved from a new born and was disposed off without weighing it to know the gram for charity. And it has happened thrice in a family,that after giving birth to each of their kids they don’t weigh before disposing it.

They have abandoned a sunnah and lost the reward of it but there is no sin on them.

A few days ago I was praying 2 Rakat Sunnah after Maghrib. Just before I said the salaam a mouse appeared which distracted me. Due to surprise I ended up looking at the mouse for a few seconds instead of the place of sajda on the prayer mat. Then I completed the prayer.

If someone commits kufr eg mokxing the hadith then offers duhr prayer and then repents to Allah for mocking the hadith will all his good deeds be written again for him and will his prayer be accepted since he prayed and then repented to Allah?

His thuhur prayer is not accepted as he was kafir at the time. As for the rest of his good deeds, Allah will restore them back if his repentance was authentic and real.

Is saying rabighfirli wajib between two sujoods… does deliberetly neglecting it invalidate prayer.. is there a difference of opinion… wud it be permissable to say allahumaghfirlee instead of rabighfirlee if it is indeed wajib… if somebody says allahumaghfirlee instead of rabighfirlee and realizes it during salah shud he make sujood as’sahu?

The most authentic opinion is that it is wajib.

Every month I use some portion of my salary for expenditure, I save some for my daughters wedding and education in future. Am I liable to pay zakat on the money I save for my daughter s wedding and education

Yes. If it reaches Nisab; which is the value of 595 grams of silver and a whole lunar year passes on it.
