Yes, it is OK. The hadeeth is talking about letting them on their own.

What I like to know is, is it permissible for kids, especially aged under 10 to consume any candy can offered to them, as they are offered by non muslims, and if we go their way, we become one of them as mentioned by Prophet Muhammed [Sal]

We have to teach the children that it is not permissible for us as Muslims to celebrate these festivals or be part of them in school plays etc as these are part or their religion and ours doesn’t allow us to participate in such as it doesn’t allow us to eat pork.

What should I do or be prepared with in receiving my new born baby in 1 or two days time. Any sunnah that I should follow.

It is not part of the Sunnah to give athan and iqamah in the ears of the new born as the hadeeth is not authentic.

There isn’t anything prescribed in the Sunnah. You can ask Allah to grant you a health and practicing child who would be one of the Imams of Islam.

Is it part of the sunnah to recite suratul Maryam during pregnancy?

No, it is not.

Jaabir ibn ‘Abdullaah reported that the Prophet (S) decided to forbid names like Ya’laa (elevated), Barakah (blessing), Aflah (successful), Yasaar (wealth) and Naafi’ (beneficial) (Reported by Muslim)… …so I have a son whose pet name is Fowzan (successful.) so what should I do according to above hadith I canot keep the name success?

This hadeeth doesn’t seem to be authentic as I couldn’t find it. As for the name Fowzan, it is permissible to use it.

I have to go to university next year because of my dad. The government allows the student to take out a loan based on interest .What is your opinion sheikh?

It is not permissible to take this student loan.

By the will of ALLAH subhaana wa ta’ala, I have been blessed with a beautiful baby girl a couple of days ago and I wanted to name the child with a middle name I have been told that this might not be permissible … …and does the last name of the child have to be my 1st name or surname? I am going to deliver a baby in November inshaAllah. I was searching for baby girl/boy names and I came across a very nice name RAHEMEEN. But I guess this is ya arham or Rahemeen It means most Merciful. So it can be used only for Allah… …Can I keep this name for my baby girl or this is not allowed as it is only restricted to Allah?

The word Rahimeen is the plural of Raheem and it is permissible to call people by that name. However, Arabs would laugh at this name as it is plural and only one person is called by it. Therefore, I highly don’t recommend it.
