Sheikh I wanted to know that can I pursue my career as an embryologist because sometimes it may happen that I would have to produce embryos for couples involving third party like surrogate mother or sperm from some men other than the father & I know that having third party is not permissible,so will I be sinful if I create embryos for such couple?

ANSWER: No problem in being an embryologist, providing you don’t work or assist in surrogacy and any other procedure that goes against Islamic rulings.

As a medical student, We have to buy Human bones for 30-40k BD taka. After a exam, We sell bones to juniors for as much money as we buy them. So there is no profit at all. It’s not like business. It’s just handing over the bones to juniors for the same money. So,is it permissible to sell the bones and take the same money?

ANSWER: Buying such bones of disbelievers for studying purposes is permissible. Selling it however is not and one should give it as a gift to other needy students.

I have got a job offer from a fertility clinic as Admin Head.Would like to know whether the earnings from such places which practices egg freezing and stuff is halal?

ANSWER: If they are doing it the halal way where the egg and the sperm are from the couple themselves without any 3rd party participation or a surrogate mother and there is nothing haram being done there, this is permissible.

Can hospitals along with good treatment do business like keeping the patient in ICU more than required to charge extra money from the patient, doing unnecessary tests , forcing patient for expensive treatment rather than cheap alternatives.

ANSWER: This is not permissible at all. Wearing gold is prohibited for men and wearing such metals for cure is not permissible if not proven to be a cure from authentic medical field.

Sheikh I have admission test and Covid is on peak. I am really confused whether I should give it or not because if I do I will be risking my family life. We have small kids in house. If I go there is a lot of chance that I will get Covid . I really don’t want to risk my life for this worldly matter. I have heard many stories of people who went to give test and it killed their parent.
