When I was 2 years old I was adopted when my biological parents died. I got married now. My question is can my father be a mahram to my wife as well see her without hijab? Please note my current mother did not breastfeed me.

With all the appreciation and there efforts of the past years in bringing you up, they are not related to you in Islam and that woman is not your Mahram and he is not Mahram to your wife.

If a man speaks to a woman in front of her husband, he should still lower his gaze after the first look even tough the husband is standing beside her. Is the rule correct according to Islamic sharia? (I know this is the general rule, but does this same rule apply in this particular situation)
