I joined in a sisters only online class on The Names of Allaah. Later I found out that they claim that we are all salafis and we should not listen to Dr Zakir naik’s lectures as he does bidah, but as far as I know Dr Zakir Naik gives Da’wah in the way of the Quran and Sunnah. can I attend their classes as I don’t know what they are saying is correct or wrong ?

If there classes include sessions on backbiting and discrediting Daees and scholars, don’t attend.

I went to visit my brother and his family. In their local masjid some brothers get together to gain some islamic knowledge everyday after Isha. they use to read some books 1. Hayatus sahaba 2. Muntakhab ahadith by Hazrat maulana Muhammad Yousuf Kandhlavi. I would like to know whether these books are authentic? Please advise.

I haven’t read these two books but if these are the books that Tableeghi people read from, they most likely have weak narrations! It is best to read Riyadhul Saliheen.

There are many secular and atheist authors of such a science. However, if a person has a sound and strong aqeedah and knows Islam well and has a good intention for studying it, this is permissible.

What is the ruling on a woman leading salat for young boys who haven’t reached puberty? Also what is the ruling on her calling the adhan in front of young men who haven’t reached puberty and her teaching Quran classes to young men who are not at the age of puberty?

May I ask as I want to be sincere regarding this…Why do we take from Abu Haneefah, Ibn Hajr al-Bayhaqee, anawawee…they had problems in aqeedah but today’s age one makes a mistakes he’s an innovator…..do we consider these imaams to be salafee (following the salaf)?
