Is it allowed to watch the islamic lecture videos of scholars who have passed away ?

Sheikh, i hv problem talking to people about islam. The most i can do is doa for those people i see around me to get guidance from Allah swt. My knowledge is limited and i have this guilty sad feeling in me for not being able to do more. Pls advise

Learn the deen more and advise them as best as you can. Dawah comes with knowledge, even if it were a little bit. Remember, the best form of calling people to Islam is through your own character and behavior.

Generally speaking, this is not permissible. However, if there is no where else, boys can go as they are the bread earners and they need to study in order to get a job.

There is a book called “Rhiyad Us-Saliheen” is this book good to read or is it better to avoid. Since there is many hadiths quoted I feel that it will be beneficial. I am afraid that if there is any fabricated hadiths. Please advise

This is a good book and it is reliable. There is a version of it which was authenticated by Sheikh Al Albani.

Certain ppl say unless your a mujtahid you HAVE to follow a madhab. Others say if you’re a student of knowledge you don’t have to. Question is; if I have access to Bukhari, Muslim, books like Riyad etc. And acces to sheikhs like yourself that can answer my questions do I have to follow a madhab or can do my own authentic research on issues of fiqh. Also would I be described as a student of knowledge

If you have done your studies in the basics of Islamic sciences and you know Arabic, it is permissible not to have a math’hab, providing you follow the Quran and sunnah with the understanding of the salaf.

I read that . “Taqleed is Waajib (compulsory) for anyone who is not a Mujtahid” from a very questionable source. Please can you comment on this statement

This is not true. We must follow the Quran and sunnah.

USA Europe everyone who has some arabic knowledge is shaykh including womens.Most of them r deviant,why u or other scholars do not warn people?Our friend & family they don’t listen to us,I know u guys call people to goodness but it’s also duty for scholars to save people from the bad! People around the world is really confused,why arab shaykh don’t come together & identify those fake shaykh?

shaikh,I am woman and thinking about doing online course.In online course website ,non mahram may follow me which is not in my hand and can check which course I’m doing. Some course banner contain images of women or other forbidden thing(but course materials are ok) which are widespread and not in my hand. Will it be problem?Can I continue doing course without contacting with non mahram?

I have a muslim teacher who teaches me english in my whatsapp list and whenever I forward islamic messages I feel a bit umcomfotable sending it to her..I don’t know how she finds it so do I ask her if she would like to be sent these posts or should I just send them to her anyway? I’m not sure if she practices. Should I ask ppl if dey wnt 2 be sent these posts or just send them anyway?

I am presuming you are a female. Keep on sending it to her as long as the material is positive and Islamic.

Can you tell me which books I shoukd buy as a beginner for ussol al fiqh and mustalah al hadeeth and uloom al tafsir and uloom al quran.in arabic. I coudnt find anything on islam qa i could just find books pertaining to the علوم الآلة Also is it a must to study the these types of علوم الغاية books before studying fiqh etc. do these علوم الغاية books have same content generally?
