ANSWER: You should pray istikhara when you have already made up your mind over what you are going to do and NOT when you are confused and not determined!

ANSWER: You must read only that prescribed dua and if you didn’t memorize it, you can read from a paper or phone.

QUESTION: In dua of istikhara as non-arabs can we have our haaja in our mind or must we say it in arabic?
