Is that permissible to make dua after every fard prayer with Imam in loud.and also in group without any prayer but remembering Allah and after that making a dua in group.Is that ok or not ok.

In our local masjid, they pray qiyaam ul layl in dark, i mean they off the lights in the masjid. so is it allowed to do so? is it makruh to pray in dark?

I have a question regarding the last ten days of Ramadan. I have heard that on Laylatul Qadr, if you give one pound of charity it acts like you have given charity for 85 years, if you read Surah Ikhlas 3 times it is as though you have read Quran for 85 years. Therefore you should read surah Ikhlas and should give 1 pound of charity everyday on the last 10 days is this true?

Sheik..If we should not raise hands in duua as u said me in Twitter ? While opening fast and all how to ask duua .. Should we just sit and keep our hands down and ask duua ? Any other action which is permissible while making duua ? Jazakhallah khairan sheik for spending ur time for all our brother and sisters.

For prescribed dua you shouldn’t raise your hands As for general dua it is sunnah to raise your hands.

In a book of dua and various surah’s, i find a dua which is called ‘isme azam’. It is written in the book that it has many benefits. Is it a recommended dua? Can i memorize it and use it in my dua?

Regarding Shab-e-barat, is my understanding correct 1.to fast on that day and stay up all night is a innovation and haram 2.the fact on this day Allah changes ones destiny and decrees are made is not true 3.to pray extra 6 rakats, 2 for Allah giving you a long life and so on, is also an innovation

You are right.

There are no basis of “shab-e-barat”and”shab-e-mairaj”in Quran and Hadis and it’s written no where that we should celebrate it or fast on those days. So the pansuras/Islamic books which show the nawafils and ayats we should read on those particular days so r all those pansuras/books nauzubillah wrong? Bcz if there is no basis of these events in Islam so from where did these nawafil come?
