There is a post circulating these days claiming that it’s beneficial to use Allah’s names to cure particular disesases/pains. For ex. calling on him using the name AL-Jabbar for thyroid condition and As-Sami for ear pain etc…is there any basis for this in the Sunnah or Hadith? Kindly elaborate…

can we fast for someone who is terminally ill, and give the reward to her / or ask Allah to cure her? my cousin is sick and her whole family is planning to fast one day for her. She is in ICU with stage 4 cancer.

Shiek, here in our community we always make qunoot every fajr prayer. Our imam is a tableegh and they own the masjid where I pray. This is the nearest masjid in our house. Is it OK to make qunoot every fajr prayer?

There is no such a thing and this is not in the Hadeeth

The Prophet (SAW) said:- ” Allah feels shy to let His slave raise his hands to Him and bring them back empty.” Ahmad Please can you clarify this hadeeth, because some people are using it as a daleel to support raising hands in making Dua after obligatory salah.

This hadeeth is authentic but it refers to the general Duaa that is not related to a specific form of worship such as after the five daily prayers as if it was a sunnah, it would have been reported to us that the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi sa sallam used to do it regularly.

sheikh, after the khutbah we pray 4 rakats sunnah on jummah, then the imam recites in arabic which to be completely honest i dont know what it is and maybe i think is dua from what i can gather, then we pray 2 rakats fard jummah and then 4 rakats sunnah and 2 rakats sunnah. can you tell me is this correct? what is the correct number of rakats and sunnah/fard are there?

I started hazrat yunus AS dua for wealthy and loved marriage with my cousin . Is that perfect dua and power and accepted dua for that purpose. In particular per day I read 5000 times to complete 125000.

This is bidah and you must not do this. Ask Allah for whatever you want and you may make Duaa of Prophet Yunus during that, but without limit it to a specific number.

Is it permissible to make dua after fard salaah (with hands raised, alone)? Not making practice, but sometimes whenever need arises
