I’m cosmetician by profession (facial treatments, applying creams – not plucking eyebrows, or doing haram things), and I decided to stop listening music. But the owner of the salon is putting music. What can I do in this case?Can I use an Ipod and cover my ears by listening Qur’an or nasheed? Or what other solution do I have?

After I gave birth a have seen that I have some marks on my belly which I don’t like at all. I can do plastic surgery?

It is permissible to remove such marks as they are not natural and especially if they are causing you and your husband discomfort. You have however try your best to have this surgery with female doctors and nurses as you will be exposing your body under anesthesia.

A sister ask becouse she hear the opinion of sheikh Albanee rahimhullah,that the plucking the hair from the legs and the hands of a women its forbiden.They tell her that this esue its like plucking the eyebrows.and that is alowed only to shave the hair.

No, it is not. A woman can pluck the hair of her legs and arms without any problem. And Allah knows best

I would like to know if cutting the hair in layers is halal? As in the layered cut. We ladies are in hijab and cover ourselves so is it permissible to cut our hair in layers?

This is permissible providing that it doesn’t resemble one of the kafir. If it is done by Muslims on a large scale and it is not only attributed to the kafir, this is permissible. And Allah knows best

Sheikh, can you please clarify how the unwanted hairs should be removed. I mean from which parts of our body.

The Sunnah is to remove the armpit hair by plucking it. Some scholars say that it is also permissible to remove it with any other method such as shaving. We also have to remove the pubic hair and the Sunnah is to remove it by shaving it. And Allah knows best

It is ok to shape or even shave off completely the eyebrow. Is very common these days with our sisters all over the muslim world

It is permissible providing it doesn’t cause any disturbances and it is not of the ordinary. Wearing such colors in areas where people are only used to seeing black is not recommended. And Allah knows best
