QUESTION: Is it a must to repeat Bismillah everytime I recite Ikhlas in morning and evening azkaar? Same goes for Surah Falaq and Naas?

ANSWER: This is a highly recommended sunnah and not mandatory.

QUESTION: Abu Dawud (5081) narrated that Abu’d-Darda’ (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whoever says, morning and evening, ‘Hasbi Allah, la ilaha ill-Allah, ‘alayhi tawwakaltu wa Huwa Rabb ul-‘Arsh il-‘azim (Allah is sufficient for me, there is no god but He, in Him have I put my trust and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne)’, seven times, Allah will suffice him against all that concerns him.

ANSWER: If you add intentionally to the prescribed thikr, this is going against the sunnah of the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam

ANSWER: This is not an innovation, however the sunnah is to make dhikr on right hand fingers as they will bear witness for us on the day of judgement.

QUESTION: My sister had twin boys, and she is always concerned of evil eye. We do recite ruqyah and evil eye dua. But she is still always scared and even when we compliment them she says everytime say mashallah. What can we do to make her calm and feel better..

ANSWER: You MUST say Allahumma barik every time you compliment them as there is a chance that you might give them evil eye without intending or even realizing. What are the duas for the protection of children?

QUESTION: I’m desperately in need of something from Allah please can you recommend a du’a, supplication or anything else I can do so that Allah gives me that which I desire.

ANSWER: Always remember that Allah doesn’t give you what you want as it might not be good for you while you don’t know it. Allah gives you what you need.

ANSWER: No problem.

QUESTION: I want to ask that if I don’t praise Allah and send salawat upon the prophet(peace and blessings be upon him) before making dua, will I be sinful?

ANSWER: No, however the chances of dua being answered would become less.

QUESTION: Sheikh is is ok if I recite “Aytul Kursi” in my mind without moving my lips before sleeping, would I get the Sunnah?
