I wanted to know during Jumu’ah, do we have to pray the Thuhur salah (for sunnah for fard and the two sunnah) or do we just pray the Jumu’ah salah and leave?

Jum’uah : Tahyathul masjid – 2 Fard – 2 Sunnah – 2+2 (if in masjid) or 2 (if in home). It is not permissible to pray Thuhur salaah if you had prayed Jum’ah

Should tahajjud prayer be performed only after the sleep or can it be performed any time in the early morning before Fajr? (Because someone told me tahajjud should be performed only after a sleep).

The name tahajjud is given to whatever night prayer a person performs after waking up from night sleep. If a person didn’t sleep the whole night and he prays, this is called night prayer.

After Asr salaah congregation, how much time is there to perform your salaah if you have missed it before the sun starts to go down. Is it permissible to worship when sun starts setting till it finishes its setting?

Can we perform tahiyyatul wudhoo/masjid (or make up our witr if we couldn’t squeeze it in before Fajr beginning time?) between the adhaan and iqaamah of Fajr salaah?

The time of witr ends with the athan of Fajr. The rest can be performed between Athan and Iqama but one should combine intentions. For example, he should pray the Sunnah of Fajr with the intention of wudhu and tahiatul masjid at the same time.

When we go in sujood, should all our toes touch the ground or is it enough if only one or two toes touch the ground while the other toes do not (for instance, if the shape of the foot is arched and it is not possible for all ten toes to touch the ground).

Your toes must touch the ground and should be bent while pointing to the Ka’abah. That is why it is wrong to be erect on the ground. They should be bent.

If i was told that if I pray extra every night I will receive some large amount of money, I would probably get up during every night to pray. I would probably think that with that money I can go and study about Islam..and I can go to circles where knowledge is being learnt and I can escape from taking a loan because I might get involved with riba.However, what confuses me is that I know the one who prays during the night might get reward in Jannah, which is obviously what I should be thinkingabout, so why do I not get up to pray in the same way as I probably would ifI was told I would receive the money? I see some people during sujood instead of putting their palms flat on the ground, they squeeze the palm (like a punch) thus using their knuckles to prostrate. What is the ruling on this?

The prostration is accepted but they are wrong in going against the Sunnah of our Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam.

Sometimes the Eemaan gets very high that I do nafil prayers, fasting, and recitation of Quran. Then day by day it decreases, like initially I start missing nafil prayers of 1 – 2 salaahbecause of laziness and it goes and after a period of few months, sometimes I miss 1 – 2 obligatory prayer. Than I have to strive hard because I know I am going in a wrong direction, work hard and come back on track. After some time again laziness takes over. My question is, is this human nature, and common among many or it is a lacking in myself? Am I a hypocrite? What should I do to always keep my Eemaan at high level?
