Could you please advise, if someone says salaam to me while I am reading Quran or doing the Adhkaar (After Fard prayer), what is the best way to respond in both cases?

Is it permissible to sit while your back is facing the Qiblah? My table and chair is in such a direction that my back faces the Qiblah. I have heard Ulama saying that one’s back should not face the Qiblah since it is disrespectful.

No problem.

My friend reverted to Islam today.She’s a Student and is fully supported by her parents and it would be difficult for her,if she lets them know of her conversion at the moment. So during Ramadan,On weekends she won’t be able to fast as her parents would be home and they will totally not accept her conversion to a different faith.So can she skip fasts and on weekends and make up for it later on?
