QUESTION: Is calling someone “Khalik” regarded as Shirk? Can we say that someone is the creator of something, for example, “Mr. X is the creator of this content”?

ANSWER: It’s not permissible to call someone khaliq since this name is only of Allah! However, no problem in saying that someone created something worldly or someone is a creator of something as this is totally different than something that Allah creates.

QUESTION: We know that Allah has veil. Is the veil, a separate being/thing from Allah like Allah’s other creations like arsh, kursi etc or it is also Allah’s attribute? Can you tell in details.

ANSWER: It is not one of Allah’s attributes. It is one of Allah’s creations which the prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam had seen.

ANSWER: No problem in the name and no problem whatsoever in eating it.

In an answer of islamqa,they stated that, swearing by the life of the one who sent down the Quran is swearing by one of the attributes of Allah,namely the attribute of life. So can we say that, Allah has life? If yes, then how can we understood this? Because all of Allah’s creation has life and Allah doesn’t resemble amy of his creation

ANSWER: Life is one of Allah’s attributes and the ever living is one of His beautiful names. His life is unlike the life of His creations as He is the first without a beginning and the last without an end. He is ever living and never dies.

I read that the name “Allah” of Allah azzawajal “comprises all the meanings of His beautiful Names” from “allahsnames.net” website. Or in other words the meaning of all of Allah’s other names are within this name. Is this correct?

Shaikh,to hold my concentration on salat,I often imagine that I am standing before Allah and Allah is in front of me and HE is seeing me and during prostration,I imagine that I am prostrating near Allah’s Feet.But I am afraid,is this kind of imagination sinful?Or should I imagine that Allah is in HIS ARSH and HE is seeing me from there during my salat?Please help me,am I doing something sinful?

ANSWER: The Muslim is not supposed to try to imagine or picture Allah, rather, he has to believe in the sublime attributes which befit His Might and Majesty in which there is none like unto Him.
