Is it permissible to attend a birthday gathering?

A friend of mine asked me to make a card so she can give her husband on their wedding anniversary. Should I make it? She might even pay me for it.

Celebrating anniversaries is not permissible in Islam and hence you shouldn’t help her.

There is a shiekh by the name of Muhammed al Yaqoubi who claims to be the descendant of prophet Muhammed SAW. Recently, my uncle has been listening to his lectures and fatwas and feels that what he is teaching is correct however I’ve heard that this sheikh encourages acts such as celebrating the prophet’s (SAW) birthday. Is this shiekh ok to follow and if not how do I convince my uncle not to?

Celebrating the birthday of the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam is an innovation and people who call for this are deviant.

Is it bid’ah to say “ALLAAH Hafiz” when we depart from our family or acquaintances ? It’s very commonly used in Asian subcontinent I think..

Suppose I decide to fast on every first day of every month, will it become bidáh ?

Is it an innovation to say the shad’a before sleeping everyday intending that this will be your last word if you die and you would enter paradise?

Respected sheikh, during some calamities or difficulties for example now about Gaza Asians send mesgs that the the chain of laa ilaa haa illaa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minazzalimin has been started for so mny thousands time so read on And paas it on to others to do so , i would like to ask is it frm authentic source or bidaa

This is bid’ah.

Sheikh one of our relatives religiously follow Dr Tahir ul Qadri of Pakistan. Yesterday he started praising him so I said that man is misleading ppl. My husband said to him that he saw a video in which ppl r kissing his hands nd feet nd this is not allowed. So that relative has given us a daleel for that:- SUHAYB SAID”I SAW ALI KISS THE HANDS ND FEET OF AL ABBAS.” (Al-Adab Al-Mufrad Al Bukhari by Imam Bukhari,Greetings chapter 445 Hadith no 976) IMAM DHAHABI SAID IN HIS AS SUARAL ALAM AN NABULA. IT HAS “HASSAN” CHAIN(As sujar, volume no 2#94) Pls clarify as I feel this is not correct.
