ANSWER: No, it is not.

Sheikh Can we greet each other with salam in the mosque after prayers or can someone answer by shaking hands even though he is making a du`aa’ (supplication) to Allah at that time?

ANSWER: Shaking hands after every prayers is an innovation, no problem to greet each other if you didn’t see them for a while.

Please guide me regarding bid’a,Is bid’a not an unlegislated act in islam done with the intention to earn reward.how come celebrating marriage anniversary etc is a bid’a .no one seeks to get closer to Allaah or earn reward through these acts.I don’t celebrate any such events but if some one is to ask me this question,I don’t have an answer.

ANSWER: This is baseless and an innovation to single out the last Wednesday of the month of Safar.

I would like to know that do women need to cover their head inside their own home, even when they are all alone ?

ANSWER: No need, this is too extreme and not from Islam.

Our imam thinks all the Hadith of Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi,Nasai,Ibn majah are saheeh. But I know only Bukhari and Muslim narrated all acceptable Hadith. Our imam celebrates “middle of the Shaban” “Eid-e- miladunnabi” etc. Now what should I do?

ANSWER: Try to advise him, and give him evidences, if he doesn’t listen the sin is on him, try to find another masjid that follows quran and sunnah.

ANSWER: This is baseless and an innovation.

Is it permissible to use certain events as triggers to remind us to dodhikr? Example: “Every time I pass through a door, I will make istighfār, that way I will keep remembering to do istighfār throughout the day.” Or is this still bid’ah?

My parents ask imam or ustadz to come in my house,they feed them and gave money,and they ask to do dua for our goodnes to ALLAH etc,,its ok to do that?
