Dear sheikh I want to do iftar in the mosque, but my parents and brothers wont allow me to break my fast there. They say break the fast in home and then go to mosque for salaah. Also i can’t join the first row in the mosque, because my house is a bit far from the the mosque. What should i do Ya Sheikh?

It is something easy in sha’ Allah. Break your fast with them and then go to the masjid.

Are there any specific duas that have to be recited during the first, second, and third ten days in Ramadan? And is there a hadith about this?

Is is not permissible to swallow blood coming from the lip or gum because it is naajis (impure)Are you allowed to swallow your blood. I have read some fatwas that during Ramadan you are not allowed, but outside of Ramadan. For example if you get a paper cut or something, or a ripped lip?

If a person travels to another city, he has the permission to break his fast and to make it up later.

In my country, the Hanafis choose to break their fast 3 to 4 min after the sun sets for the sake of being on the safe side (with regards to the sun setting). Is this a bidah?

No, this is not correct. however, whatever you teach your children, you will get this reward of whatever he does.

I wanted to ask if someone thinks that they can eat during Azaan till it finishes and wasn’t aware that they are suppose to stop eating Suhoor at Azaan or at start of Dawn. And later find out that thier Masjid gives Azaan at true Dawn,do they need to make up the previous Fasts ?

If they thought that the end of the athan marks the end of eating, their fast is valid because they were ignorant of the ruling.

Can i engulf my saliva when fasting, which is not normal saliva. because of dry caugh and cold?

If it reaches your mouth coming out from your throat, you should discharge it and not swallow it. If it is in your throat and didn’t reach your mouth, you can swallow it but it in not healthy to do so.

I read a hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah that if a person accidentally eats or drinks while fasting, he should complete his fast because what was fed to him was from Allah. If I accidentally put something in my mouth and then remember that I was fasting, should I spit out that food or should I eat and swallow it then continue fasting?
