Can I receive or donate blood while I am fasting?

If you donate blood and it is little, this doesn’t affect your fasting. As for receiving blood, this invalidates your fasting.

Someone comes near me and if smoking cigarette and if I have to inhale (breathe) the smoke while I am fasting, so what is the status of my fasting?

Is fasting one day in first ten days of Dul hijjah equal to fasting one year? Is this hadith of tirmidhi authentic? -“The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to fast on the ninth of Dhu’l-Hijjah, on the day of ‘Aashooraa’, on three days of each month, and on the first two Mondays and Thursdays of each month.” (Reported by al-Nisaa’i, 4/205 and by Abu Dawud; classified by al-Albaani as saheeh in Saheeh Abi Dawud, 2/462).

I am a resident in Bahrain and I am currently in SL, and they have announced today (16thOct) that Eid will be on 27th Oct..which means the fasting for arafah will be on 26th,which is the day of eid for the pilgrims..what should I do?

I have the intention to fast all 9 days of dhil hijjah (and I don’t have to make up any day from ramadan or kafara) ..it is recommended for me to skip saturday and begin again with sunday?

If you will fast Saturday and Sunday, this is permissible. Singling out Saturday is not permissible.
