QUESTION: Is it okay to raise hand while Saying Assalamu alaikum to People you meet or while passing by?

ANSWER: This is not from the sunnah. However, if such people are at a distance and won’t hear your salam, raising the hand in such a case is fine.

QUESTION: Sheikh I have ADHD and it is very hard for me to focus when I pray. Will Allah still accept my prayers?

ANSWER: Yes, in sha Allah. As long as you do your best, Allah is the most Merciful and doesn’t burden a soul beyond what it can bear.

QUESTION: If someone is fond of something which is prohibited in Islam like wearing gold ring or chain but he doesn’t do that at all practically. He controls his desires. Is he still sinful for having those desires ?

ANSWER: No, he is not sinful rather he is rewarded for fighting his desires that are prohibited.

QUESTION: What is the general ruling for not eating food that we do not like the taste and cannot continue to eat. People say to eat it but don’t throw it. ANSWER: You must not eat what you don’t like and should leave it for someone else.

QUESTION: Sheikh, some people wronged me. I’ve forgiven them. But some have tormented me so much that even after forgiving, I make dua to Allah so that HE does justice to me & decrees whatever punishment upon them HE thinks necessary. Is this kind of feeling appropriate or should I forgive & try to forget everything, thinking that Allah will satisfy me with rewards in the hereafter?
