QUESTION: Is it true that Allah may choose to punish someone by exposing their sins to others? I sinned in the past and I feel extreme guilt and shame about it everyday as I severely regret it. I’m scared everyday that people may find out about it. How can I sincerely repent so that Allah conceals my sin? If Allah forgives me inshAllah or even if He doesnt, can I be sure that noone will find out about it?

ANSWER: There are no guarantees as this is in Allah’s hands. As long as you have sincerely repented to Allah while showing deep remorse and you didn’t expose your own sins in front of anyone, Allah will keep them concealed in sha Allah

QUESTION: If someone was in a haram relationship but did not commit Zina and sincerely repented from his/her sins, can they be considered chaste again?

QUESTION: Sheikh I read in Islamqa that it’s permissible to isolate oneself for the one who fears for his religion. Can i isolate myself away for the rest of my life without getting married. Would that be permissible?

ANSWER: This is not from the sunnah! What you want to do is not what the prophet salla allahu alaihi wa sallam had ordered us to do. This is from satan to isolate you from people and increase your drift away from Islam and proper knowledge.

QUESTION: What should be the motive of our work hard. I am confused that if it is for our future, it may be lack of eman, as I have heard that one should not worry about his future as Allah has planned everything for him.

ANSWER: A real Muslim excels in his work to be the best in it and to earn more to help himself and other Muslims. The richer you are, the more help you can give to this Ummah and the Muslims.

QUESTION: In my community, many people use rude words. Thankfully, I don’t use them, but since I’m surrounded by it, I hear those words often. Sometimes, they get stuck in my head, and I accidentally think or almost say them. Am I sinful for that? and What should I do about this situation?

ANSWER: You must surround yourself with practicing brothers all the time who don’t use profanity. Whatever goes through your mind is forgiven as long as you don’t say it verbally nor act upon it.

QUESTION: My husband is revert and in his culture there is nothing wrong to fart while eating, but I feel that it is very wrong. I can’t find any explanations, so can you please tell if that is normal to do?

QUESTION: If I love nuts and my mom has already given me my part …but still I take nits from the part that she kept in home in her absence ..is this stealing ? Am I sinful ? What ruling is on if An adult child take and eat things from her own house in absence of mom…. Is this a right of child or stealing ?
