I promised one of my cousins that when he have a visa to Angola I will buy his ticket, and few days later my dad called me and told me not to help him a single cent. So what should I do? But I have already promised him, & I don’t want to deny my dad too.

If his travel there is halal and no sin involved, keep your promise.

Is it wrong to aspire to be a champion in a halal sport? Such as wrestling/running/swimming? and is it wrong to aspire to have a good job? because I was told this is just chasing the dunya.

These sports involve a lot of haram things and one should not compete in them.

I have involved in a group at my university where we have an association called “International student society ” where I mix with girls. My intention to involve here is to increase my capabilities… …in terms of speaking but I don’t shake hands with female, but some times we make joke and hang on. Is there any problem in Islamic rules & regulations with this attitude?

In our local Masjid, during khutba people give charity in charity boxes, which is passed in front of each row , is this permissible

Is crying a sign of not being patient? Will reward of patience be not given?
