This seems permissible providing that it doesn’t consume a lot of your time.

I have two phones, the old one I use to listen to quran and the new one to do other things. Do I have to obey my parents if they tell me to use one of them only? I know it’s important to obey parents but, what should I do in this situation?

If they are both yours and they don’t want one of them for any justifiable reason, you are not obliged to obey them as there is no interest in it for them. However, you should be diplomatic in dealing with them.

Is it permissible to write a reference note on the side of the Quranic ayat . If I am reading an ayah and for my better understanding can I write in Quran on it’s page it’s meaning so that whenever I am reading I will understand what does it means ? Or Am I sinning by write next to the ayah ?

I am going thtough an addiction problem now a days . When ever I am stressed just to get out of it I watch pakistani dramas . I don’t watch movies or listen to music. I try to spend my time in learning deen whenever I am free. Now a days I am feeling that I am watching it more and getting addicted to it . Last time I was watching it whole night. I can’t read Quran all the time or learn about deen all the time. I am not that pious, though I want to be but watching these dramas I like it, after watching them I do feel guilty . How can I come out of it and what can I do to get out of this stress which forces me to watch them ? Please guide me.

You are the one who is opening your heart to Satan to conquer it and control it. Bit by bit, you will lose all and become one of his soldiers.

I have a sister and she in some aspects says Islam is wrong; and my parents don’t do anything about it. Today a topic came up about islam and my sister started saying evil about it and I continuously tried to stop her but she arrogantly continued while I remained calm. Then suddenly I shouted at her pointing finger at her mouth and told her full of anger to shut up in front of whole family. I am always a calm person, and in this situation my anger goes up and then down so fast that I don’t get time to even seek Refuge in Allah from shaitan. Advise me, what should I do in this situation?

I arrange an English class for my younger sister, but my sister procrastinate a lot. So I promised my young sister that if she doesn’t take the class that day, I will cancel the class for ever. But, later her teacher cancelled the class of that day herself. So, because I made a promise, what should I do now?
