I am preparing for a medical entrance exam but i always get negative thoughts about the results. After asking Allah to help me in exam, should I expect good results and be optimistic and keep hope of good things to happen or not expect anything?

We live a few months in peace then my dad gets stuck in a problem(financial or a person reporting against my dad based on false accusations) due to which we cant travel/do anything. Our lives are not getting better. We pray regularly and give charity. I wanted to ask if this is a test since our problems are repetitive it feels as if we might be doing something wrong and are getting punished.

From past few years i’m facing that I get blessed with things bt at the last moment i lose them. Like my marriage got fixed n 10days ahead it was broken. I got in postdoc and later the position went on hold. I got a job and later i was informed somebody else was hired but not me. All these things are depressing me nw i feel i will lose everything I get at the last moment.Pls help

ANSWER: This is life and we all face calamities. A believer is the one who is always content with Allah’s decree and says Alhamdulillah in ease and he’s patient when a calamity strikes. Allah has chosen what is best for you. Only He knows how things would be had the things you asked for happened!

I have an abusive father who is destroying my life since childhood. I’m not an emotional person. Now he is throwing me away out of his life. If he dies is it obligatory on his only son(me) to arrange everything(e.g.. his funeral)? I know Allah loves kindness but I can’t do it with this man. Please pardon me & just let me know is it ok if I manage anyone else to arrange everything like funeral etc?

I struggle in my life everyday. My problems are mostly friend related. I have friends who gossip about me, who I feel don’t like me, I have friends who never include me in the things they do. I never seem to fit in, since when I was in high school, people smile at me in front of me then gossip about me behind me. I want to know if I’m doing anything wrong and why they do that to me.
