How does one know that whatever an individual is going through is a test from Allah and not a punishment?

ANSWER: Only Allah knows if it is a test or a punishment.

I would like enlightenment on the part that Allah says in the Qur’an that He guides whomever He wills. What gives some hidayah and others not? Is it predestined like birth, wage, death, etc? How does it fall into the concept of “free will”?

Sheikh Shahib, i want to know about qadar takdeer. As far i know qadar is something written for you by Almighty but do sins also written for you? Sometimes whenever i do sins but then i repent but my regrets keep going with me all the time. Is sins are also written or its only by man deeds?

In Islam Allah is all knowing,He knows what will happen in future, He knows everything… My question is If Allah knows everything about my future before creating me that I am going to hell then why He created me? To just burn me in hellfire?

ANSWER: Everything was predestined 50,000 years before Allah created the universe. No one knows what is written for them. This means that if you sit home and die, this was predestined and you have only yourself to blame for not working. And if you go out and work and make money, this was also predestined.

Is it wrong to have hope in Allah when humans have no hope? People tell it is impossible but cant I have hope in Allah that he’ll make it possible? Because if I have a hope in Allah and my dua is not accepted then it’ll hurt me more. So should I or should I not have hope in Allah?

ANSWER: It is a part of a Muslim’s belief to have total hope in Allah’s mercy. If a dua doesn’t get accepted in the exact way you asked for, be assured that it will be answered later in a better way in this world or the next.

I recently suffered a traumatic miscarriage at 5 and a half months to the point I have nightmares and flashbacks. I often cry for my child and have been blamed for causing the miscarriage although the doctors have said it is because of an infection that couldn’t be detected.
