Sheikh al Fawzan is an eminent scholar of the grand scholars of Saudi Arabia. Your friend is an ignorant imbecile and most likely he is from the khawarij or a deviant Sufi and this is why he doesn’t like him! 

Can we take aqeedah from sh. Saleh al Fawzan? Is he a trustworthy scholar? I have friends, who don’t respect him and advice me not to take knowledge from him and that there are scholars who are more decent and reliable than him.
