My wife is here in KSA and I am on job from 7am to 4pm. We are totally separated and alone & Living in Company apartment in closed Room with basic life facilities available. I want to know can my wife set for Itekaf this year as she is alone with doing cooking etc in iftar time & Sahoor. What will best way that she can set and follow the proper Islamic way?

ANSWER: Itikaf is not done at home. Its only done in the masjid.

Sheikh if a person misses the two rakah of witr and joins in the last one rakah where imam does dua, how/what is he supposed to pray after that one rakah. Like the imam prays 2+1 in witr and the person joins in the single rakah.

ANSWER: He doesn’t have to add anything as he prayed one single rakah with his imam and that was sufficient. If the imam prayed 3 rakah and he only caught one, he must stand up after salam of the imam and compete the remaining two.

There’s a video of recitation of Surah Al-Baqarah that has gone viral, apparently it contains black magic, in the video there is voice of woman background saying along the lines of: “Owen Brown will listen to what is say”, “Owen Brown will come back to Ork University with me”. The voice is computerized robot voice, and it can only be in the background of the recitation, is this sihr?

ANSWER: This is nonsense and mocking of the Quran. It is not permissible to listen to such mockery of the Quran.

Sometimes i forget the recite the dua (Bismilahi tawaqaltu alallahi La haula wala qowata ila billa)before leaving the home and I remember I haven’t recited the dua and am already out ,so reciting the dua when am already out fine or it should only be recited when am about the leave?

ANSWER: Recite it as soon as you remember. Dua while leaving home should be recited after stepping out or when I’m still inside my home.

If someone asks me something I know the answer to but I don’t wish to reveal it, is it lying or is it permissible to say الله اعلم to make out as if I don’t know? Because technically it is true Allah knows best

ANSWER: This is not required at all. Allah has asked men to leave the beard and not touch it, He did not ask to grow it thick or long! Whatever comes naturally is sufficient.

A woman who doesn’t go to masjid, what is the ideal way to pray qiyam ul layl for her in Ramadan? Which one is the best? 1.5 hours after Isha and 1.5 hours at the last third of the night? Or 3 hours of prayer at the last third of the night and no taraweeh?

ANSWER: It is best to pray it in the last third of the night before fajr.

In our masjid there is 20 rakaat taraweeh + 3 raakat salatul witr in jamaat. If I attend the taraaweeh jamaat, do I have to stay with the jamaat untill it ends or may I leave anytime I feel like leaving?

ANSWER: You can leave anytime you want but you will lose the reward of praying the whole night if you leave without completing the witr with them.

Sheikh there is a myth in our society that if a girl’s menstruale period starts after 12PM then her fast will not be broken…is it true? Or in Islam what are the exact orders about this

ANSWER: This is totally baseless and fabricated! Her fast immediately breaks as soon as the period starts, whether it starts one second after fajr or one second before maghrib!

I was considering joining MSA (Muslim Student Association) in college next year. I am reconsidering to join or not due to the men and women always being together and doing events together in this association. I don’t want any fitnah. What should I do?
