Wa alaikum salam,

You have to fast unless you fear for your health or the health of the child due to breastfeeding. If there is no fear or extreme fatigue, you must fast.

Assalamualaikum I am having a 3 and half months old baby and I am feeding him least 3 times per day and rest is the bottle feed. I wanted to know is fasting mandatory for me? Any how I observed the fast on first day of Ramadan. I alone have to take care of my baby as no one else is supportive enough at my place. Please guide me with the right path. JazakaAllah
