Be grateful that Allah took it away from you and your family.

Imagine how it would have been, had he walked out on you after marriage and two or three children!

Sheikh, My family friends asked for my hand and promised to come to Pakistan from USA. In Asian families word means a lot. Everything was decided and we were preparing for shadi. They bought the tickets and confirmed us. We even announced everything in our family. But they said no at the last moment. And said we are not liable for anything. Are they sinful for breaking promise?
