My friends are very unintelligent about Islam. I only really have 4 or 5 close friends, they are all Muslims. They always say things like… oh my gosh, oh my goodness, Jeez, etc. I have tried to warn someone in a nice manner but I got in trouble with my people. Am I excused from leaving the area when they say these things, if I wouldn’t hang out with them I wouldn’t really have friends.

There is a place here which they sell used phones all around. And we know it as bad place because there are a lot of thiefs and bad people here. If i buy phone from someone at that place which is very cheap. And most of the people say they steal those phones and sell but if you are buying and ask them where they got that phone from and they it’s theirs but they really need money. Is it haram?

ANSWER: It’s not permissible to buy from them if you know that they sell stolen items.

ANSWER: You can financially help them if they are poor and needy. However, it’s totally prohibited to give them anything from your husband’s wealth without his permission.

I have orphan first cousins in another country. Can I calculate and set aside my annual zakaat and give in person when I go visit them or I must give it right away somewhere else at the same time every year?

ANSWER: Zakat is given only to poor and needy muslims! If your cousins are truly poor, you must give your zakat on time to them or call them to authorize you to keep it for them until you visit them.

Sheikh, are rewards same for one to memorize the surah yaseen or to recite it..?

Sheikh are call centre jobs halal? I live in Pakistan and here call centers provide services to foreign USA based companies, the customer does not know who they are talking to. Guys here change their name on the call like david mark alex. But the service is legitimate.. How halal it is?
