ANSWER: No, he’s not a mahram and she must be fully covered in front of him and it’s not permissible to chit-chat or socialize or hang out when he’s around. Is being in a monthly Quran katam group where everyone in the group is allocated to a juz, is it equivalent to reading the whole Quran? Could I get some insight if these groups are beneficial or correct.

Sheikh in India elders tell der kids not to pluck flowers & go near tree and touch dem after maghrib especially pomegranate tree and sidr leaves as dey believe it has jinn on it if u sat under any tree you will probably get possessed.. How true is this shiekh?? And how can i guide them

ANSWER: This is not true and baseless. People who come up with such weird things are commanded to provide the evidence backing up their claim from the Quran and sunnah.

Is it permitted in Islam to shape the misshapen teeth or it will be considered as renovation in Allah’s creation? (other than braces because I know braces are allowed) I want to straight my upper and lower teeth at the ends where both meet.

ANSWER: This is permissible only if this is to fix a defect, an abnormality, or something that impairs your bite when eating or your speech when speaking. If it is merely for beautification, this is not permissible.

Even though I try avoiding, still at times owing to unforseen circumstances (once in a month or so) I get stuck in traffic jams in my city which result in me missing the congregation. So, what under such circumstances is better for me especially if there is plenty of time left; to pray alone as soon as I find a Masijd or to lead a prayer in congregation at home with my wife behind me?

Could you please explain how to do ruqyah on children? Apart from Ibrahim AS dua that Mohammed SAW recited on his grandsons, I recite ayatul kursi, 3 qul Surahs and Surah Fatiha, all 3 times and blow. Should I do ruqya separately for both my toddlers or is it enough if I recite once and blow on them? Should we place our hands on them and recite?

There are scholars and people like scholars who I have benefited greatly by the will and mercy of Allah. However most of them support public female dawah figures. They do videos with them etc. Am I allowed to watch these scholars?
