Since my childhood i used to think that Islam doesnt honor women because of my fathers and his family’s behavior but later on this got cleared and this misunderstanding went soon after that i started getting waswas and i still get them this has affected my prayers and i didnt pray many of them.Was i never a muslim? Do i have to take a bath to become a believer and start praying?

You were a Muslim, but just a weak one. Prayers that you deliberately missed cannot be made up as Allah won’t accept them from you however, you must repent for your past while showing deep remorse and sincerity and increase yourself in good deeds as good deeds erase bad ones. You don’t need to take a bath to become Muslim again.
