ANSWER:

This is not permissible as we don’t judge people according to what is in their hearts as this is only known to Allah!
We don’t say that this individual is in hell but we treat him as a kafir in terms of burying and not asking Allah for forgiveness for him and Allah will judge him.

There is a hadith regarding the funeral procession of a jew was passing by. The prophet salallahu alayhi was sallam stood up in respect. Is this hadith still applicable today? I heard that this ruling got abrogated and no more applies.
