ANSWER:

What do you mean by ‘to please people’?

If they want music, free mixing or any haram practices at the wedding, you must put your foot down and not allow this to happen but with utmost respect, diplomacy and by never raising your voice in front of your parents.

I want to do Nikkah but my dad is late. Who can be my Wali in this situation if my uncles live very far and no smooth relationship between I and my uncles?
