While drinking from a glass of water, is it permissible to hold the glass with the left hand and placing the right hand at the bottom of the glass as a support?

While drinking from a glass of water, is it permissible to hold the glass with the left hand and placing the right hand at the bottom of the glass as a support?

This is not allowed because if he leaves the left hand the glass would fall, while if he removes the right hand, he would still be holding it with the left hand which means it is the hand holding the glass.

I have a friend and always she complain for her mother- in- law. I have listened her always and i gave her good advice to be patience with her and to pray for her , my question is :Is this a form of backbite?What should i do next time?

Can we drink from bottle?Or we must have all the time with us when we go out a cup?
