But that doesn’t at all mean that the major sins you mentioned gets a green light, they are still major sins.

I read Quran everyday in the morning and I pray 5 times a day alhamdulillah but I’m addicted to something very bad (can’t tell) and it’s one of the major sins but it’s not shirk! I try my best to stay away from it by being a better muslim but sadly after sometime,maybe after 2 or 3 months I end up committing it which makes me cry a lot after doing it. Am I a hypocrisy?
