The reward that Allah has placed for those reading the Quran is very big. The place of a person in paradise is where his last ayah he recited was. This means that those who don’t read the Quran will be in the lower parts of Jannah.
So many verses in the Quran orders us to ponder on the Quran and this can’t happen without reading it.
The Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam had told us that each letter of the Quran, Allah will reward us with 10 good deeds up to 700. Those who don’t read it are deprived from such reward.
The more you read it, the more you gain knowledge. the less you read it, the more you become ignorant.
