The hadeeth states that Khidr asked him who he was and he said I am Mosa.

Khidr asked him which Musa and he said Musa of Bani Israel.

This means that the name Musa was common and he wanted a family name or an attribute to know him by.

When Hazrat Musa A.S met Khidr why did Khidr ask him which Moses is he?
