Have patience and find ways to reach their heart with total humbleness

When ever i say something to my parents about islam they dont hear me . there are photo frames in my house , also a fish statue show piece , i told them its haram allah would ask us to put life in them . So my mom was like i didnt hear about till now , so i told her i can show saheeh hadeets she completly ignored me , am scared if i will be also punished , what should i do ?

Asalaam Alaikum Sheikh, My husband cares for his mother who is very aged and an invalid. Sometimes she gets stubborn and doesn’t want to eat so he has to be a bit loud and / or firm with her, for her own good, because if she doesn’t eat well, she can’t sleep well due to hunger. Can you please tell us in the light of Quran and Sunnah should we still treat those relatives with kindness and love who are very cunning and often put the burden of doing big things on us and run away when their turn comes. Should we stay away from them because of their selfishness or stay in touch and be very kind to them?
