You repeat the athan individually after the Muazzin and then recite the prescribed dua after athan to be eligible for Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam’s intercession on the day of judgment. 

What should one do when sitting in the masjid and hears the athan. is saying “La illaha illa Allah” with congregation (in the end of athan) from the sunnah?
