If they write the marriage contract and she take the mahr then she is his wife and have rights upon her but not to have intercourse unless the father of the girl approves it as she is still living in his house and he is providing for her.

What r the rights of bride and groom after making nikah(bridal money is paid at the time of nikah) but before rukhsati. I mean if ruksati is to b done after 2years, then what r rights . ? can they kiss, hug or do intercourse within this period..
