In my friend’s family, when a child is born, they ask a Baba/molvi for baby’s name. He somehow figures out that baby’s name must start with M or S or whatever. They believe that if they don’t name their baby starting with the alphabet their Molvi told, it will not be good for the baby. I know this is a total innovation but I can’t find anything to support this fact and correct my friend.
