ANSWER:

This is not permissible. A woman who does not have a male mahram to accompany her is exempted from the obligation of umrah and hajj because Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam said that a woman who believes in Allah and the day of judgment must not travel without her male mahram. 

what is the islamic ruling if i want to perform umrah and my husband and sons refuse to come with me. I am allowed to go even though I am 51. I have a sister who is a single parent and has a daughter no Mehram is she still allowed to go Umrah.
