I would like to know the ruling on quaranic calligraphy. As I like doing it. But one of my friends told me that one must not write quranic words and verses in tge form of calligraphy as the one who does it is praised more. I am confused as they do write calligraphied version of quranic verses on kiswah .

This is not mandatory and if one repeat the same verse he shouldn’t prostrate as this will stop him to  go on.
