All fastings are for Allah.

We know that fasting is done for the sake of Allaah as Allaah has said that every deed of human being is for himself except fasting. I would like to know is it only obligatory Ramadhan fasting that we do are for the sake of Allaah or even the non-obligatory nafl fasting is done for Allaah’s sake?

I am keeping my qada fasting of ramadan.yesterday night i made niyyah but i did not wake up for suhur.as i made niyaa so i contin ue fasting wihout suhur.is this fasting is valid?( generally i do suhur with a glass of water and date, i dnt eat heavy food.
